Presentation: “Epoxy Injection: Myths and Misunderstandings”
Many people say they know how to perform epoxy injection but are often mistaken. This presentation addresses many of these mistakes. Topics covered include:

Presenter: Bob Trout, Lily Corporation
Robert Trout is the President of Lily Corporation, a manufacturer of proportioning dispensers and other hardware for the construction industry and concrete repair in particular. Lily Corporation not only manufactures equipment for concrete restoration, but offers instruction in the application of the systems as well. Trout has been affiliated with Lily Corporation for more than 30 years.
Trout is a frequent presenter at International Concrete Restoration Institute meetings and has chaired the University of Wisconsin Extension Program on Concrete and Masonry Repair. He participated in the development of cold weather epoxy injection at the University of Ghent in Belgium and has been a guest instructor at the University of California in Chico. Trout has also performed epoxy injection training in China, Chile, England, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Mexico, New Zealand and elsewhere overseas.
For more than 35 years, Lily Corporation has worked closely with the concrete restoration industry. Trout is often invited to train the sales forces of resin manufactures, including Sika Corporation, Euclid Chemical Company, DeNeef Chemical Company and others. Engineering companies that have sought his expertise include Wiss, Janey, Elstner, Parsons Group and Construction Technology Laboratories.
Trout’s memberships include the International Concrete Repair Institute and the American Concrete Institute. Lily Corporation, with Trout as a representative, is a charter member of the International Concrete Restoration Institute.
Trout holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from St. John’s University, Collegeville, MN.
