The Critical Connection: Understanding the Importance of Grout in Industrial Equipment Reliability
Sponsored by

Grout is often one of the most overlooked yet critical components of an industrial equipment support system. Serving as the vital connection between equipment and its concrete foundation, properly selected and installed grout plays a significant role in equipment performance, stability, and long-term reliability.
This presentation will explore the fundamentals of cementitious and epoxy grouting systems, their applications, and the key properties that influence material selection. Attendees will gain an understanding of how grout interacts with the equipment, baseplate, anchor bolts, and concrete foundation as a complete support system. The discussion will also highlight common installation challenges, testing considerations, and best practices for achieving reliable, long-lasting performance.
